Day Z zombie survival mod: info, videos, tips and tricks

    The story: I was camping NW airfield when these two guys in civilian clothes cames crocuhing across the airfield into the hangars. When I noticed one had the biggest rifle I had ever seen in the game, I knew it must have been the .50 cal, so I shot him and he ran out of sight bleeding in the hangar and his friend aborted right away. His friend must have healed him in another server and Mr. 50 cal likely went to a better position to log in and kill me. Meanwhile, Shibby went down to check for loot and ended up getting shot and killed by Mr. 50 cal. Thinking Shibby was the one who shot at them earlier, Mr .50 probably told his friend it is now safe to rejoin. At that time, I shot and killed the lone survivor in the hangar near where he logged out before. SCANNER, having gone down to assist Shibby's wounds (which proved to be lethal in one hit from full health) spotted Mr .50 cal searching in the direction that I had just killed his friend from. SCANNER was able to flank and kill him with several shots from an m16. Although one in our group was killed, the end result is successful as we end up with the AS50 TWS bad ass rifle :D

    its not successful untill i get a 50 cal

    @Arborist+Ginia: to make an extremely long story very short, we ran out of as50's so instead I built you a tent with a non-hack .50 cal...the tent will be right next to the tent you built at the edge of the moon in us23

    just something to watch out for: of 2 vehicles that were essentially side-by-side, the one that i hard-saved manually, an offroad, had it's gear deleted after server restart while the other unsaved vehicle, a v3s, retained all it's cargo. Nothing a bit of conservative gear diversification can't revert, but something to be aware of.

    I dont think there is any reliable way to save your stuff. There was a rocket launcher in the blue van and I did not save it after leaving it but all gear is gone now.
