In case of confusion that was a 4v4 on refinery with lots of other good players, evil or LC can vouch for me that those were good players, and yeah i was just proud of that. i also got the base nuke at the end

Where's the awesomeness there? A 2-digit number of kills and deaths, and a major. But now I want to set my HUD to blue.
With all due respect, Cad, I'd be surprised if you were able to come out with more than a single kill at the end of that round. I'm sorry for putting it so harshly, but it's true. And that statement is not based solely on differences in skill.
I was just chatting with Lc about the different worlds that some players play in. For example, you could be someone with a bad internet connection, out-dated video card, low framerate, high weapon inertia settings / poor mouse sensitivity settings, and use a weapon without a laser. Put that player up against someone with all the right settings, fast reflexes, and outstanding technique and strategy, and there is absolutely no match in a game like Crysis.
Sorry for going on a bit of a rant there.

I have a good connection now, though...
FTR, I've been getting a 2-digit number of kills pretty much every match, except that one match when I was really tired and sucking because it was late, and getting owned by this one guy. You should see me on a server where my ping is a 2-digit number (Amsterdam will never be that). I kick ass! But having a better frame rate would really help... Sometimes it's hard to aim at the enemy in a fight because of my laptop video card.
But there is an answer to my video card. Asus has been, for years, working on this thing that turns USB into PCI express, but it also makes whatever you plug in to the PCI express slot actually be as fast as internal PCI, ignoring the cap on USB 2.0. It's bound to come out damn soon now.
Plus I don't know how to use it yet, but there's an extra PC slot on the outside of my computer. It's got some empty useless block of plastic plugged into it now to keep dust out, but once I figure out what this port is all about and learn how to remove that plastic I can maybe SLI vidoe cards.

Some of the screenshots are in bad quality because they were over the file limit so I had to save them as GIFs.

evilk could you give me a copy of that mesa wars? and yes hedero i do get that in editor when you do +p to add the physics and when you press +p again if you look in certain angles you see it but for something really wierd you have to go press +g (start the thing) then press 7, yes you go into speed mode but you get an extra pistol (that is not added to the regular one) and something very wierd............

He's talking about glitchy stuff in editor and also the strange items added to inventory, a pistol for some kind of marking and like a wheel or something...

yes that's nice. talking about TS, it wouldn't be bad if we tried switching to Ventrilo. the sound quality seemed much better to me and also the UI is more intuitive.
