How do you think? - To buy a GTX 580 if I have GTX 480?
I know that 580 is more powerful than 20%
just want to know your opinion

22 NOVEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT!
Nvidia has not announced it yet.
I wonder if the GTX 580 will be a dual GPU version of the GTX 470? Nvidia's current lineup does not include a dual GPU card yet.

no no no no.... Unlike GeForce GTX 480, GTX 580 model uses all its resources on full maximum. In a new video card involved all 512 nuclei CUDA, and 16 active SM-blocks have opened access to additional texture and ROP-blocks.
I also said that it will be more powerful than GTH 480 on 20% =) is not exactly dual GPU version of the GTX 470!11
580 = 1536 MB like 480

impossible, pcie supports only 300w the 480 and 470 use over 150 watts per gpu (around 170 watts i believe) having 2 on one board would be an impressive feat and would require nvidia to redesign their architecture. ll in all it would be easier for another line of faster gpus instead of focusing on power reduction, not to mention the heat issues.
