The 80+ certified PSU's are usually good. But a Corsair, PCP&C, Seasonic is always good. I do not know enough about XFX power supplies to say if that one is good. It looks expensive though.

This is the PSU I am using: Antec True Power New 750 watt. It has the exact same internals as Corsair and PCP&C. Keep in mind that some Antec units are not good, while others are excellent. This exact one will do a great job.

Here are some reliable Corsair units I can recommend.

650 TX : I am a little skeptical about this one.

750 TX, same internals as the Antec True Power New 750 watt. Good.

    850 TX. Good.

    850 HX. Good.

There are some other PSU's from other manufacturers I can link if you want.

I am not familiar with Combat PSU's either.

Here is the one I have from that website. I think it is the same one. My German is terrible, so it is hard for me to understand some things.

ok let's recommend him one, not 25 psu's, time to start narrowing it down. unless you are planning to upgrade to better gpu's either a dual gpu card or a dual gfx card setup, 750w will be fine for you. I recommend looking at the internals of the psu's beta posted , since they are awfully similar, take things like cable thickness, modular support, and fan size/performance into account too.

More than a 10c spread across cores? Maybe you should consider re-applying thermal compound and re-seat the CPU?

i wouldn't dip below 700w just because you may need the power in the future.

A good PSU will also lower temperatures. The good ones produce less heat.

I'd say that Corsair is too new. Go with the older Corsair I linked. It is practically MIL (military grade) where you can push it harder without a thought.

Blackhawk it looks a good card, the non-reference cooler also looks nice, it is also getting some amazing reviews, it is a beast though! no room for crossfire with this set-up it takes up 3 slots.

Been using a 6970 myself recently not my own, as i still have a crappy 4890, this card still can not handle crysis at max on 1920X1080 with all the icing it manages 35 fps average in crossfire 65fps solid average pretty good scaling if you ask me 8) just goes to show how tough Crysis is to run even after 3 years!
Not tried it with battle company yet but will soon I am sure it will fly with this game.

From my small understanding of such things yes and no, some games relie on the cpu a bit more than others, so maybe you will find some limit/bottleneck?

The games i hear that are bad for this is Metro 2033 and Stalker Call of Pripyat both games that relie on the cpu some what, but hey i am only going by what i've read on the web and have no first hand knowledge on this.
