I am not 100% sure but I guess your antivirus is stoping this or other security software. If you have any security software running at the time you can try to disable it and start that after you have the game on.

Are you using Windows 7?
Crysis Wars will not install on my new laptop. It has Win7 64-bit and the installer gets stuck on installing DirectX. The laptop plays other games on high, and has a Core i3 with a Radeon 5650. Plenty enough for Crysis, but it does not complete the installation.
I might try to download and install the DirectX file separately. I think the Crysis Wars installer is having trouble because I need to update.
Win 7 64 works fine for me
hm does somebody remember how many times you can install wars using only one copy?
maybe you exceeded that limit?

wars doesnt have a install limit.
blackhawk did you delete ea downloader first before installing new game, and i read somewere that zip/rar tools sometimes f.u the unpack works.....so delete all tools and use the windows version to unpack the game.

Hmm that's weird man, I have win7 64 here and it installed just fine. Have you tried google? I'm sure someone must have had a similar problem somewhere

try installing on another computer with win 7 on it, if you can than copy the crysis wars folder to your main computer. should work, another simple way is to attach your main pc's hdd as a slave to another pc and change the install path to your main pc's hdd.
