Yeah when is a better time for a secondary scrim, Wardy? I think most North Americans would prefer a much later time in the evening. I'd vote for a midnight or later scrim (that's after 6am in Ireland, so I'm sure you don't want it that late).

2 scrims sounds good to me, what i'd like to see is maybe a TIA as well as the PS scrim I know its been brought up before and i think its a good idea TIA is not only about improving your aim, it can also be good for learning to move and fight as a team.

Thx for the scrim today guys and girl! :)
All in all balanced teams and good teamwork.

I think we should make "only double pistols, shotgun or SMG" more often

I think that was the best scrim we've had so far; I'm upset I couldn't stay for the end. I can at least speak for my team when I say that communication was good and teamwork was at its best so far. Verrater's team did a good job of getting and holding energy sites as he and Ripley were on the ball 24/7 while Roginia and Felix worked well to pound the proto and the bunkers. I was also surprised with PointGuard's team's equally impressive performance.

For once I actually managed to keep off the bottom of the score list in a Scrim. This shows that we learn how to cooperate and fight better for each scrim we have. I agree with Ripley: More pistols, shotgun and SMG's. Any other weapons we should discuss using?

Actually, I think we should stress the importance of practicing with early-game weapons - the ones that you can afford at the beginning of the game. I don't really consider the shotgun to be a realistic choice. When the game has just started, the SMG is probably the best candidate, with dual pistols in a very close second. Practicing with a shotgun during a scrim is not really beneficial in terms of realistically increasing skill.

If I were to suggest that we use only SMG's or pistols, I personally would go with pistols only because the SMG provides a lackluster amount of accuracy in comparison. However, I think it would be equally as good to practice with either of the two weapons.

I agree but don't hate on the shotgun, i can kill people easier with it than the smg. Pistols are probably the easiest to kill with though.

evil i thought the scrims were for OSF only to build our teamwork
we shouldn't have non osf members in our scrim at all

Last Scrim saw much improved teamplay, at least on the team I was on.
It was also a lot of fun.

Having a non-OSF blast me in the face with a shotgun when I open a door, would just not be the same.

However, insert idea smiley here, invitiing prospective members to a special teamwork audition scrim would be smart.

I agree with G and Felix at the same time. Why would we have guys like ... eeeh... IBOT joinig our OSF internal scrim?
But there may be exceptions to the rule. When there are players associated with OSF for a long time like Lc or where its evident that they will join OSF I would not hesitate at all to invite them for a scrim.

Is it possible to make a second scrim-session 10-12 hours later. Many guys are working or sleeping when the scrim started.

Kahmu, when can we schedule our scrims so they do not interrupt your tv-watching?

I think this was our first 7v7. TS was a bit too chatty Kathy, but this was definitely our most intense scrim yet.

At one point near the end, I think the NK team got within 2 or 3 in energy and certainly made my team's heart rate go up a bit.
