Quit making us wait, Visk. We want a full report on the 5850 including performance #'s and a bang for your buck rating.

By the looks of that chick that verrater posted, youd get alot of bang for your buck :P

well, for crysis i was running everything on good visuals, i averaged about 30fps (sometimes more, sometimes less, hence average) and now i run everything on high and average 38-40 fps.

a larger increase was seen in BFBC2, where i had to run everything on asstastic (i.e. low) and still had poor frame rates, and freezes, and crashes. and is probably what killed my old 8800ultra.

anyways, i now can run things on high, and average over 30fps, but get some graphical glitches from muzzle flash every once in a while (especially in that stupid chopper mission where im shooting the minigun) but other than that pretty good.

i havent reinstalled any stress testing programs yet, but i will. i also have pictures, but they are on the memory card, in the camera, that was sent out for repairs, so we will have to see about those

Glitches, I can explain those. You bought an ATI. Other than that kind of thing, it sounds like you will have fun with that card.

    overclocked and water cooled mang!

I had the same ones except it happened to any explosion, fire, muzzle flash and similar things. I was using a crack, though. I just don't hope those glitches still are there when I buy the game.

i never turned my gddr speed up, i have a 1000 watt powersupply, so i doubt thats the issue

edit, and bfbc2 and crysis are the only two games ive played with the new card so far. it has only happened in the choppers, for me robot.
