i have graphical anomalies only on my integrated graphics ati 3200hd what card are you using, i dont get them on my 8800gts 512mb.

Every explosion (only when objects are exploding or explosive barrels/crates or vehicles. Not when shooting rockets at the ground) causes a black graphical glitch covering the entire screen. I got a GTX 275. Must be the crack I'm using. I'm gonna add it to my wish-list/buy it anyway.

No, I am not pirating anything

I just want to know if the graphical glitches are in the retail version. BTW: just have to say this, but the MP better be worth the money, because the AI sucks. When I turn around the corner and meet an enemy NPC, he just stands there until he "goes out from his shelter" and shoots me. Incredibly easy to knife them.

Unlike Crysis, Bad Comapny 2's recoil is immense on most guns, which I feel, adds some realism. Unfortunately, it is a pain for me to just walk around. Navigating up a flight of stairs is a nightmare, as my character feels sluggish and clumsy.

The sound is horrendous because you cannot tell which direction the sound is coming from or even how far it is from you. It just sounds like everything on the entire battlefield is happening all in the same spot. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has the upper hand here with good support for surround sound in the audio options.

However, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 does seem to be on equal ground with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in terms of lag, as I have not seen a single player with less than 80 ping. Even in a Chicago server, Verrater and I had pings over 150.

Despite graphics settings, my framerate is between 15-100. When it is 15, it is unplayable, and when it is 100, it still feels incredibly choppy (possibly because of high ping?)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 also has the upper hand in terms of character movements, in that Bad Company has no option to lay prone on the ground, toggle crouch mode, or toggle sprint mode.

Like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2 also does not have a health indicator on your HUD, as both games feature automatically regenerative healing. However, Bad Company 2 does have a medic class, which has been all but nerfed due to the fact that there is no real need to heal yourself or teammates.

Also, "ArmA II head bobbing" while running is annoying as hell.

Well, I only played for a few hours, but I can say that this is the worst Battlefield game to date.

Unless some major patches come out that fix multiplayer ping issues, low/wildly fluctuating framerates, and an option for surround sound support, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 wins big over Bad Company 2, even with the lack of dedicated servers.

Well, using the repair torch as a weapon has changed my outlook on the game for the better. And zapping dudes to death with a defibrillator still causes me to laugh hysterically even after all these years have passed (ask Verrater).
