Those look nice but the texture still isnt as good as Crysis wars....i mean look at the suit closely, looks kinda smooth and what ever happend to the hexagons or the octagons(which ever one it may be lol) on the suit.

I can't tell if you are joking or serious. Excuse my impoliteness, but what are you talking about? The lights are calculated in real time. The textures are going to be superior to Crysis Wars. The physics and pretty much everything. After the first Crysis, Crytec had enough money to do anything with the engine. Those images you see are most likely not even at half of their potential graphics detail. Actually, antialiasing is probably not even turned up.

Crytec had two branches developing the game separately. One group for consoles, another for PC. Later they combined the groups. It is not a port from a console, so it will live up to our expectations. You will see. The only part we have to worry about is the consoles stealing all the press releases and hype.

Oh and btw i never said i wasn't going to buy the game because it was going to be on consoles. I said i wouldn't buy it because it would just be a waste to buy another game if hackers came over to Crysis 2.
I'm just holding off on buying it for about 2-3 months to see if hackers come to Crysis 2, I'm sure they will.

Guys, I think it goes like this: Pointy was pissed off just like all of us when he found out Crysis 2 was going to be a faggy console game, at which point he claimed he would not buy it. Then he changed the story to he won't buy it right away, then he changed it to he won't buy it right away b/c there might be hackers or some shit like that. Well, it's pretty obvious that there's going to be hackers (at least in the PC version). Now PointGuard is being forced to eat his words even as these screenshots are coming out with awesome graphics and he can't admit it.
Don't be ashamed Pointy, we understand what you're going through. And we won't laugh at you if you pre-order Crysis 2 like the rest of us junkies.

slacker can you reformat that post so i dont have to scroll left and right, also cryengine 2 is for warhead and crysis 1 cryengine 3 is cross platform and for crysis 2.
