$6499....hmmm i would of spent half on water cooling and also have a top of the range HDTV, ....extra wide screens are a gimmick, .when you can buy a HD screen twice the size for the same money.
plus that resolution is stupid 2880-by-900 ...900 is too low for my liking...as they seem to be floging this for graphics...hmmm dont think so.....when they have a better height res maybe then........but you should really try one first...Don't believe the hype!!!!
get a 60" or 80" HDTV instead,.....sit back 1m or less and enjoy.

that is one long ass monitor. i wonder how wide of a view it gives you in games, can you see almost 360 degrees or what.
And how big was that old standard flat monitor of yours? ...42"...no..... well then not really a comparison then is it....Also I'll be suprised if you ran a lower vertical resolution.
But I would like it for Video post-production work.....and the response time is impressive...0.02 milliseconds..or 16 microseconds.
PS its not very thin is it.. 8O ...kinda going back to CRT with that depth.
Is every game compatible? I'd imagine you'd need that triple-head to go thingy to use that curved screen.
