Level Rotation - !OSF Mostly Mesa

We've decided that it would be best if we began playing maps other than Mesa, so here's my all power struggle proposal.

mesa
frost
mesa
beach
mesa
crossroads
mesa
desolation
mesa
plantation
mesa
refinery
mesa
shore
mesa
tarmac
mesa
training

If most of us agree on this, it will be the level rotation in use for the OSF server.

Alternatively, we can test this rotation on the CoP server, as there are only a few days left for CoP gaming

Yeah, it's all of them, but the point is that we'll always have Mesa no matter when we connect to the server.

And what does it make you if you can't spell dumbass?

Works for me, but should we really have the small maps? One thing Crysis has over other games is it's one of the few great multiplayer FPS's with gigantic maps--and I like playing Crysis on the gigantic maps.

Yes, the small maps won't work with 32 players. I'm not sure what to do about that; either get rid of the small maps or reduce the player limit.

small maps shouldnt be in the rotation but can still be called up by an admin incase there is only 10 people in the game and a huge map is on

LOL Can you imagine 32 players running around Frost, tat be insane, we should try it 8O

Yeah, maybe we'll get rid of the small maps. If we want, we can always vote for them.

I remember before I joined CoP, the first time I was in a 32-player server. I was overwhelmed, as a Crysis noob. Explosions everywhere, my visor was constantly blurry and full of dirt, it was hard to dodge the millions of grenades... I believe everyone's KDR was <1.

its statistically impossible for everyones kdr to be less than 1, unless a bunch of evils were ripping it up and all left :).

anyways, im down for whatever, but id prefer maybe a more stable map list, some of the big open ones like mesa and other ones that can be server voted, or loaded in by an admin. thing is, with changing maps, there now is more of a point in ending one battle so another can start.

Yes, it may be interesting to actually have an incentive to buy a tac for once. Also, I'll take the small maps out from the rotation. I'll see if I can change the server vote settings so that we can vote for those maps if we want to play them.

I vote we fix the broken voting system--that is, make it work all the time and not some of the time. I will help as much as I can to get this problem fixed. And then we can, yes, have the Mostly Mesa server and get the word out that players can vote on the next map and vote kick the hackers and air/tank whores. I mean, most air/tank whores aren't that annoying and behind the annoying vehicle is either a noob who you can't blame or a cool guy, but some are just total assholes.

Yes, the voting system should be a quick fix. I'll make it so that it takes fewer votes for a successful map change or player kick.

Also, I'm aware that some mods aren't working, like the custom chat triggers (price, admin, rules) and the weapon damage against infantry (vtol missiles, C4, rockets). These problems may take a bit more time, but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about them.
