haha never had too read those....always a first time.
thanks.
hmmmm never had to adjust my router before, but i tried some ports, no luck.
64100 is open. any ideas comrade? i use a thomson speedtouch 780.
It is open for what? UDP? TCP? Incoming? Outgoing? Those are the other things you need to keep in mind.
You can try opening 64100 for all and see if it works. If it works, close things off 1 at a time. If it doesn't work, leave them open until you find the problem.
You can try disabling the router's firewall entirely for a short period of time. See if that works or not but remember to turn it back on after you test it.
Here is a link to the router user manual if you need it. Lookout, it is slow. PDF file server is located over the big pond.

Crysis 2: B-e-t-a
My old Crysis login worked.

That will be a very good choice.

Single player is great. Currently, I am not sure if it is better than Metro 2033 though. I'd say it's a good tie. However, Metro 2033 takes about twice the resources... Crysis 2 is optimized well.

Nice. I heard the 6950 is a little better than the 5960. Good stuff man. What kind of power you pushing that card with?
-
Wait, it decided to work. The problem was that Windows 7 was (supposedly) installing an update at the time I was trying to install Crysis 2. It would be nice if it could tell that Windows Update blocks Autorun and optical drive activity during an update.
I rebooted (a second time) and let the update configure it's stuff.
Crysis 2 is now running well. The single player mode looks great and I am pleased. TBH, the multiplayer demo was extinguishing, but the single player is nice. Playing on all HIGH settings, but will turn it up to VERY HIGH next time I play.
I like how Crytec did the suit up. It is easier than Crysis 1, and better than the demo ever was. It is pretty good. Right now, it lacks female T&A though. Homefront has female T&A.

I received it today via UPS.
Pros:
- "Made in the USA" However, I do not believe it for a second.Cons:
- Flimsy disc suspected to have been made in China or Mexico.
- The disc does not contain meaningful data or information that can be used on a computer with a CD/DVD drive. It doesn't work. This sucks. I received it as a gift and now I don't even know who to contact for a refund or replacement. Apparently, Crytec releases disc's that have not been tested.

I have an xbox360 controller for racing games. Tried it on PC and yes, there is aim assist. It is sad that console is so inferior it needs an aimbot.
Anyway, once word of this gets out, it might ruin our credibility. Maybe set it to 0.1 so that we don't catch sh*t for it?

They shipped mine out yesterday. Newegg can let it out in the US nice and early I guess. They did the same for Homefront.

Texture quality and detail level are top notch, upper end. The only complaint I have is the explosions are short bursts. But the lighting effects are more realistic and accurate. Also, no cheap dust or smoke effects.

Combine Battlfield 2, Crysis, UT3 Engine, and something completely original, you get Homefront.
Something about this game is so very different from other games I've played. The multiplayer is familiar in usability, yet completely original. It has it's own gameplay style.
I think what makes it so amazing in gameplay is the maps. They are wide open like Crysis. Also, there are planes and aerial vehicles like Battlefield 2. But it is built with map content that far exceeds Crysis or Battlefeld Company 2 maps. After playing this game just a little bit, I have come to realize the fricken maps in Homefront make other games look generic. Homefront maps are genuine, original, detailed, creative, elaborate, and simulate the "home front".
And yea, there is something disturbing about the Single Player, but that exact disturbing characteristic is also very stimulating. It puts you in the game. The storyline is emotional and awakening.

haha you've got to be kidding me.

What bothers me about Crysis 2 multiplayer is the map setup. Something about it is claustrophobic and feels like a cage. The original Crysis was open and required skill. What I hate about the original Crysis the lag and the the cheaters/abusers are macros and bugs.
I'm playing Homefront now. Single player is pretty good. We'll see how multiplayer is tonight.

So, are you guys playing Crysis 2 as a clan yet? How is the server/clan situation going to work out?

FOCKING TANKS THESE NOOBS SHIT LIKE ASS

A good PSU will also lower temperatures. The good ones produce less heat.
I'd say that Corsair is too new. Go with the older Corsair I linked. It is practically MIL (military grade) where you can push it harder without a thought.

Change to text color made. Also, the link colors for <select> <expand> were updated too.
-
I changed the background to black (#000000), but I noticed some other elements use that use the same CSS. What I will do next is change the background-color back to what it was and then change the text color to something.
