Crysis 2 Received - What tha FRICK!?!?!

  • I received it today via UPS.

    Pros:
    - "Made in the USA" However, I do not believe it for a second.

    Cons:
    - Flimsy disc suspected to have been made in China or Mexico.
    - The disc does not contain meaningful data or information that can be used on a computer with a CD/DVD drive.

It doesn't work. This sucks. I received it as a gift and now I don't even know who to contact for a refund or replacement. Apparently, Crytec releases disc's that have not been tested.

  • Wait, it decided to work. The problem was that Windows 7 was (supposedly) installing an update at the time I was trying to install Crysis 2. It would be nice if it could tell that Windows Update blocks Autorun and optical drive activity during an update.

I rebooted (a second time) and let the update configure it's stuff.

Crysis 2 is now running well. The single player mode looks great and I am pleased. TBH, the multiplayer demo was extinguishing, but the single player is nice. Playing on all HIGH settings, but will turn it up to VERY HIGH next time I play.

I like how Crytec did the suit up. It is easier than Crysis 1, and better than the demo ever was. It is pretty good. Right now, it lacks female T&A though. Homefront has female T&A.
