Thing is, when I decide to lay clays, I have to lay a lot to be successful. I'm not a professional trapper like some of you are. :wink:

i think if you tally the votes, 8 wins out, because those that voted for 4 or 6 would much prefer 8 as opposed to 16 which makes 8 votes for 8 (or less clays)
and those that voted for 10 are kinda in the middle, so screw em,
and those that want 16 (or more clays) total 6.
least, thats how i see it.
plus, can you even keep track of 16 clays, will you know when you reached 16, or will (more likely in the heat of a game) you not keep track of all your clays, an inadvertently lay more than 16, causing the first ones laid to vanish.

simply by looking at votes, there are more votes for 2/4/6/8 than there are for 16/infinite.
so, the players that voted for less than 8 would be far happier with 8 than with 16.

Boy this is getting complicated, but I'm glad Visk brought up the forgetability factor, in which you start losing count of how many you've placed after about 8 or so. For me, it would be a pain in the ass to go back and see if my first clay is still in place. Plus, if it's not there, it doesn't mean for sure that it has been replaced by the clay limit or if it has been exploded. This is why I'm pushing either for a reasonably low limit (< or = to 8 ), or for unlimited clays (which I'd prefer only to utilize occasionally on the server).
Once the server is restarted, the new limit will be 16. If we aren't satisfied by this amount, we can just open a new poll with fewer options. Maybe the two option can be:
1) Fewer than 9
2) More than 9After that, maybe we can narrow it down to a specific number from there?

I figured since it's 16 on the main server, I'd set it to a lower number on G's so that we can play with the idea of both. It's currently set to 6 on G's.
