What is a ehome infrared transceiver i need to uninstall it to get my console to work on crysis but i don't want to uninstall something that i might need or want to reinstall that i cant get from anywhere!

i thinks its just an rf receiver, meaning you cant use the remote without it. without the receiver hooked up the remote is useless, its what your tv uses to pick up on remote signals. i guess its not important unless you use your pc as a home theater management thingy and dont use a mouse to use the controls in windows media center when watching movies.
