Visk, ATI has recently released a card between the 5770 and 5850 in terms of price and performance- the 5830.

Newegg had a $230 deal on the radeon 5830's, but I think it was one day only.

And to Verrater- 260's are better than 5770's in Crysis, but gtx 260 prices have risen and Tom's editors are now calling them overpriced, which is why they're no longer in the "best cards for the money" articles.

If you are in a hurry to buy a card right now, ATI is probably the best way to go, as they have a full DX11 lineup. Nvidia is only just getting into the DX11 party, so if you want a good Nvidia card, I'd say wait awhile.

Scout_Felix is right about tomshardware. They have the best bang for your buck recommendations. If you trust Tom, then currently the best bang for your buck video card would likely be the radeon 5850 which can be picked up for under $300. It should be a bit more powerful than nvidia's gtx 285.

However, if your current card is still holding together, wait for some new products from Nvidia, as they have the most powerful chip offered on the market in the form of their new gf100 GPUs which will surely be seen in more video cards than just the 470 and 480 which will soon be on store shelves.

But wait! I assume you've already looked into your current card manufacturer's warranty information. A free replacement is the best choice

Guys, it's not going to be in stock for quite some time yet, as the game has to be made before it is shipped. I mean, they still don't even know what will be on the box.
