Thanks for making a post in the ban appeals section for our server.

Unfortunately I can't see a reason for this to happen to you legitimately. Here is the log entry:

24.05.2013 16:26:18: Deadpool (IP:2304) e6fe4cb8dd5e1aa3c65006a8317456e7 - #0 2:28 Smallboat_1 [11208,2569,9]

The last portion is your location / coordinates. The strange thing about this is that your height is 9 meters above sea level, although the boat is at 0 meters above sea level. One explanation I can think of is that, since those coordinates are right next to drakon is that while on shore at a height of 9 you teleported a boat in front of you.

That's about as in-depth as I want to get right now, but if you want further explanation of the 1 exception to this I'll leave this link here. However this requires fast movement and desync, I don't believe that a fishing boat can go fast enough, even with desync, to trigger the anti-teleport.

I'm guessing Wars since it's in the crysis forum.

Yeah why not.

I was banned because I was riding a car with my friends. How is that bannable offence?

No you were banned because of the setPos command being used. The only time this has a 1 in a million chance of and having a vehicle is when a teleport is reverted. Now the thing is that when a teleport is reverted it is logged on the server, your name or PID comes up a total of 0.000000 times being logged as reverting a teleport.

The way that you were logged in a legitimate situation is that you would be the driver, or if the game things you are in a vehicle. 90% of the time when you are a passenger in a vehicle your player while not be recognized as a vehicle. But like I said the game didn't revert a teleport for you so I honestly can't give you a reason as to why, if you are playing legitimately, this would happen.

That said, illegitimately being logged means you were teleporting a vehicle. Hence why you only get 1 unban.

There are also a couple other events that trigger this, but instead of it coming up like this in setPos.log:

01.05.2013 06:10:06: stnk (IP:60825) 16a9aeGUID - #0 2:36 Volha_2_TK_CIV_EP1 [xxx,yyy,zzz]

It will come up as this (legitimate log):

30.04.2013 20:08:43: O Rly? (IP:2304) GUID- #3 11:125 Shot [xxx,yyy,zzz]

Note that all legitimate logs will come up as shot.
OR it will stay the same as above but also have this in the .RPT:

2013/04/30, 21:57:20 "TELEPORT REVERT: maxmax (41911861) from [6811.64,2703.05,0.109825] to [0.283477,0.0626588,0.00136185] now at [6811.64,2703.05,0.109825]"

Read up on what it does here:

Like Chachi said, take it or leave it...

For something like this I usually leave players banned, but since I'm in a good mood today I'll unban you. Don't make me regret it.
Just a note: you are only unbanned once for setpos violations, most people are not unbanned at all.

I was busy raiding your crew's camp, already killed one guy, and snuck my way into the castle where, hype I think, saw me. Tried to find him for about 1 minute then the server crashed, go figure...

Obvious joking isn't obvious enough to icomrade

You have a sense of humor?
That was a joke

Lol make a new thread if you will be continuing this discussion...
FYI the 7970 outperforms the GTX 680 with the newest drivers and is about or more than 100 dollars cheaper, look up some recent benchmarks and we'll see who the fanboy is... Also I don't think it's about spending too little and getting crap it's more about spending more and getting less.

Go ATI they are cheaper, faster, and cooler. 7970 vapor-x is probably the best you could get without going up to a 7990, but at that point it's about 1grand... you can get others on sale for just over 350.
This is a decent price -- Don't buy an XFX!!

We still play, however it is not as often as we used to. Since the game is riddled with bugs and hackers, although there are much less hackers on this server, we usually play on a private server. Although I will pop in and out at time, we usually don't play as an organized group in public servers anymore.

Well I guess I should write in a colorful text as well!
Hello Raul, I'm glad to see that someone is FINALLY making use of our various text colors.
From now on everything I write will be in a gradient!!!

Electric motors always have superior acceleration in comparison to internal combustion. Electric is able to instantly apply full torque to the wheels, while gas has to rev up, so of course the acceleration is gonna be fast. Of course, with a carbon fiber body, I expect it to be even more serious.

Electric motors only output peak performance above a certain charge level, unless this technology has seriously progressed over the last year. Also batteries have a finite lifetime whereas combustion engines can run for as long as they are maintained. Not to mention the added weight of the batteries which probably negates the benefits of carbon fiber.

I approve of this thread.

In essence all VWs are cars for cocks built by cocks. Case closed.

Let's just assume krykiller voted for you...

Arb, can you get Rog to vote? Evil's being picky.

Soliciting votes is against protocol.

YEP.

Yeah.
