Yes, I believe it is possible to change the carry limit, but I have not figured that out yet.
How about adding a poll for us to vote for a regular clay limit? It may be best to start a new topic.

Rob, you may be pending for quite a few weeks, that's how long it has taken me on my 2 accounts. It is also possible that you may never get activated if they are not looking for work from your area or if they do not need processing time from your connection type. There are several variables that come into play. My advice would be to just be patient.

http://www.playclaw.com/ it shows you who has joined TS and who is currently transmitting.
Alt-tabbing in DX10 does not minimize the game as you'd expect, it only enters windowed mode, which is difficult to then minimize

24 is almost the same as unlimited, as it's not often that one lays more than that. Was 24 a typo? It seems too arbitrary.

Actually, I would now prefer having occasional "claymore weeks" like we used to back in the CoP days, as I also have grown quite tired of joining the server only to get blown up time and time again by an AFK player who has spent the last 45 minutes harvesting Mesa for possible claymore and mine positions. I love having unlimited mines, but turning OSF MESA into the 24/7 mine server was not only a mistake on my part, but it was quite selfish, as I never made any type of official poll asking what others thought (I suppose I had just assumed everyone was for the idea).
And yes, I am one of those people who has planted clays and then left for dinner while hiding in my base like a douche bag. This was an unintended side effect of allowing unlimited mines. Unfortunately, I am not the type of server administrator who can figure out how to program the server to make mines progressively more expensive as you buy more.

Ok I'll let you in on a secret. I didn't pull the ten number out of my ass. I updated the members list and literally counted the amount of people that go in our forums and I feel would place a vote. Of those, I figure it should be possible, but not too easy to get votes from 10 of them. After running it by a few others, this sounded like a good number for now.
I fear that by using some percentage of total population, we won't be guaranteeing any number of certain votes as some members use the forums more than others (like, not at all for some).

Oh cool, it's now working for me as well. I didn't change any website settings, though

Although your application was created before the 10-vote requirement, you will unfortunately have to abide by the new requirement, as your application form was made incorrectly anyways. Feel free to resubmit.

With the influx of applicants recently, we've decided to make a slight change in the way new members will be accepted to join OSF. Starting at the time of this post, applicants will be required to receive enough approving votes from current members in order to join. During the period of time that you are waiting for your votes, please join us on TeamSpeak when playing in our servers (you probably won't get any votes if you don't anyways).
Allow for changes in the amount of votes required, as our roster changes.
If you have any questions, comments, or complaints, feel free to make a post here.
Current number of votes required: 10
"No" votes subtract from "Yes" votes.
Members may expect to receive full permissions such as administrator privileges and voting permissions within one month of gaining membership. Polls are open for one month after the time the application has been submitted.

Sylar, use Rob's link to our application form, rather than just copying/pasting someone else's form.
Also, where are you from? Just curious.

Rob, I'm not sure if I understand what you're saying, but if you want to make money for OSF by using some time, processing power, and bandwidth, you can install the Gomez Peer by CLICKING THIS LINK.
Getting activated using that link will earn me a dollar (which I'll put towards OSF), and if you'd like the money that you earn to go to OSF, let me know and we can create a shared account.
You will be able to see exactly how much money you are making each month and you'd be able to ask tanktop to confirm that he is in fact receiving that amount.
$45/month is not difficult to make by using icomrade's "method". Xfire me (or icomrade) for more info.

Ok I'll give it a go on one of my virtual machines
Oh and icomrade, do you use "gomezreload"? It works pretty nicely and saves tons of time if you want to open a million java.exe's

Players don't know when the server is "watching".
