The 470 performs between ATI's 5850 and 5870 and has been priced accordingly ($350). The 480 performs between the 5870 and 5970 and also is priced as such. The new Nvidia cards aren't in great supply, so it will probably be easier to pick up an ATI card.

I agree that Tryton is a nice kid, which is why I'd like to extend an invitation on behalf of OSF to continue to play with us on our servers and chat in TS. Who knows, after enough time has gone by, maybe a larger number of members will be on board with the idea that Tryton belongs in OSF. However, during this time of complications with new members, I will continue to recognize Tryton as another one of our Crysis friends, and not as an OSF member. My vote remains no.
