You know beta will ask what kind.
-
trailers are great....game is shit

-
Actually, there has been an xfire update...so the game is automatically detected and xfire in-game works along with the fps overlay.
-
beta...let it go

XFX has the best warranty. Also, I can attest for good customer service, as they replaced my 9600gt with a 9800gt for free.

SLI works...just sayin
Nvidia SLI works in the C2 demo.
-
I hope you feel better soon.

Felix is right in that it's never a bad idea to start out with Tom's Hardware's "Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart". As the chart points out, the 6950 is one tier higher in terms of performance, but 560ti offers better bang for your buck.
And to answer your next question, if you do decide to go with the 6950, XFX has the best warranty.

For xfire, you need to go into the options and select "Crysis MP Beta". I also changed the name of Crysis2demo.exe to just Crysis.exe
The r_displayinfo 1 command should be working, as I've seen it before in the demo, but I suppose it's easiest if you just turn Fraps on.

when i switch to cloak the sound is diffrent than without cloak. why?
It's actually the same way in regular Crysis.

I use xfire to check framerate, but you can also put r_displayinfo 1 in the shortcut's properties...mine looks like +g_skipintro 1 +cl_fov 60 +r_glow 1 +r_motionblur 0 +cl_crouchtoggle 1 +g_radialBlur 0
so you would just want to add a space, then +r_displayinfo 1 to the end.

@comrade- If you think that's cool, check this shit out:
http://rush-zone.com/media/downloads.html?task=viewcategory&catid=12
it's a really cool little program that lets you tweak the demo how you like it
@felix- you do need the + sign. I too can't seem to get rid of motion blur. Every time I slide I'm reminded that it's still on. You may want to try the .exe that I linked above.
@blackhawk- If amd hasn't supported crossfire for Crysis 2 yet, then crossfire will not work. I do know that EVGA has released a "SLI Enhancement Patch" that will allow for SLI in the Crysis 2 demo, but I don't know if there is a similar type of patch from amd. If not, then I think you'll just have to wait until the appropriate driver is released.

I know you don't have an EVGA card, but that's where I read about the SLI unlock.

From Tom's Hardware:
"The Frostbite Engine 2, unlike the console-limited engine of the CoD franchise, is designed for PCs which makes Battlefield 3 a force to be reckoned with. Look out Crysis."

Does OSF have a server set up for Crysis 2?
Not until the actual game is released on the 22nd. -
