@Arborist+Ginia: to make an extremely long story very short, we ran out of as50's so instead I built you a tent with a non-hack .50 cal...the tent will be right next to the tent you built at the edge of the moon in us23

Not really a bug, but is there a way to tell what section has new posts since your last visit? I'm just looking for the date of the last post and noticing this section says last post by icomrade on April 8th, 2012. Maybe it's just because it's my first time logging in?

The story: I was camping NW airfield when these two guys in civilian clothes cames crocuhing across the airfield into the hangars. When I noticed one had the biggest rifle I had ever seen in the game, I knew it must have been the .50 cal, so I shot him and he ran out of sight bleeding in the hangar and his friend aborted right away. His friend must have healed him in another server and Mr. 50 cal likely went to a better position to log in and kill me. Meanwhile, Shibby went down to check for loot and ended up getting shot and killed by Mr. 50 cal. Thinking Shibby was the one who shot at them earlier, Mr .50 probably told his friend it is now safe to rejoin. At that time, I shot and killed the lone survivor in the hangar near where he logged out before. SCANNER, having gone down to assist Shibby's wounds (which proved to be lethal in one hit from full health) spotted Mr .50 cal searching in the direction that I had just killed his friend from. SCANNER was able to flank and kill him with several shots from an m16. Although one in our group was killed, the end result is successful as we end up with the AS50 TWS bad ass rifle

Some interesting pieces of info: Think like a sadist evil game designer if you want to find vehicles. Also, If you are in PVP and disconnect your player will be frozen in an unconscious state for 3 minutes. Yes, you can do this to yourself. Wait 5 minutes afterwards to not have this penalty when DCing

You can count on veteran servers not having nametags as a generalization. Veteran servers allowing third person and map marking, while also common, does not hold true as often.

I'm not sure, but I would suggest playing on "veteran" servers instead of "regular" or "recruit" so your nametag will not show up to douche bandits from across the country. Although losing your gear to get water from a pond is fixed in 1.5.8, be aware that this happens when entering the lake while exhausted. Wait a minute to catch your breath before entering the water in pre-1.5.8 servers!

or if you're killacon, you can log out at a nice loot spawning area and hop into another server to see what is has there lol. just make sure the server has saved your position recently.
