I think it's up to the server administrator to create a protect.xml file that allows clients to use those modified files without getting kicked by Crysis's internal cheat protection.

And back on topic: Today I was happy to see a full server with 9 out of 32 of the players being from OSF. Nice work, to everyone who was there.

Yes, we can get a game server in the US if you promise to help pay for it. Hell, if you pay $20/month, we can probably even get one right near you in California.

Just curious though, what is your ping in our main OSF server? Mine is in the 120's. 170's for SCANNER and Sniper777. Tioga is around 200. And 100 seems to be the norm for the East Coasters.

With that OS X-ass-stomping Windows 7 just around corner, it would be pretty hard to load Windows Vista on my dream machine. Instead, I'd go with the Release Candidate version (better yet, the Release to Manufacturer version, which comes out very soon) of Win 7 in 64-bit flavor. The OSF server is starting to get visitors, even w/ CoP still being online. I'm not too worried, as I'm sure we will all agree to play in OSF once CoP is down.

As for the 24/7 Mesa part, I disagree. It is "OSF Mostly Mesa", plus I've tweaked the vote settings so that it should be easier to vote for a new map. The players will play whatever map they want, isn't that best?

Yes, the voting system should be a quick fix. I'll make it so that it takes fewer votes for a successful map change or player kick.

Also, I'm aware that some mods aren't working, like the custom chat triggers (price, admin, rules) and the weapon damage against infantry (vtol missiles, C4, rockets). These problems may take a bit more time, but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about them.

I've told you before that your asshole attitude was hindering CoP's ability to recruit new members. Well, in OSF this is becoming a greater problem.

Please shape up, or you won't be a server admin any longer. Quit being an ass, and quit making dumb ass posts, or don't bother wearing the OSF tag anymore.

This is not at all the way you acted in CoP when you were working on becoming a 2LT.
