Yeah, it's only been a few months, but I feel I need to post this again.

Especially since Sniper joined way after me and almost instantly got admin, and when I ask you guys what he did to prove he wouldn't screw it up, you say "I don't know." But I feel as though I've proven myself enough so that if I were to get admin, and you were asked why, your answer would not be "I don't know." Yet I still haven't gotten admin. What gives? Is there some kind of secret pick on Cad thing going on?

I know what Evil and Scanner and maybe others are going to say: If I keep whining about it, I won't get it. Well, I've been in the clan without doing anything douchebaggy for almost a year, and not including this topic, I've only whined about admin once, and that was for the same reason I posted this topic. I think I'm entitled to remind you guys every once in a while that it should at least be considered whether I deserve it, and that I want it.

And if Evil says anything other than stop whining, it'll be "I don't know," like just now, right? If you don't know why not, then why not? What could I do to screw up admin that I would do? And don't forget about Arson, who got admin by whining all the time, says everyone besides Arson, and has abused it many times. If he can have it, and if a new guy like Sniper can get it for the reason called "I don't know," why not me?

And since we're talking about respect, why can't I be American on the poster? The shut up Cad thing on TS has stopped long ago, yeah, but I still feel like everyone likes me about as much as they like Arson or Tioga because practically every post I've made in the last two or three months was shot down or put down, and not just by Arson, and the poster was purposely made with me as NK.

EDIT: OK, now after talking to you guys more I find that people get admin by not asking for it, and that you were thinking about it until I asked tonight. Am I the only one here that finds this as complete BULLSHIT? [I've waited longer than anyone in the clan] (stupid comment right there) and have done nothing but good things. I never asked for admin until now, and I'm only asking now because I've done more than anyone else. What the fuck does it take, man??? And why does Scanner keep saying that I spend 90% of the time on TS arguing with people or "saying that I'm not something?" I haven't done that shit any more than anyone else and I'm sick of this crap always being brought up. Is it because I was not the only one, but the most recent one to not realize you weren't singling me out when you wanted silence in the TS?

Not only am I not getting what I deserve, but by questioning the complete bullshit being thrown at me I'm making it worse, which is unfair. This isn't the damn army. And on top of it, a lot of people have been hypocritical and judging me heavily on actions I almost never do, actions which they do as much as me, ever since I joined. I just don't understand why I don't get as much respect as I deserve, don't get the admin I've worked harder than most admins for, and are singled out for annoying things that everyone has done no less than I.

And now Scanner says if I don't whine about it for 6 months then I can have it. Well, I can totally do that, but should I? When I went far more than 6 months before this topic and was ignored, and while [I doubt any more admins here than one or two got admin in 6 months or more] (stupid comment right there). Scanner, don't bullshit me, don't come up with excuses to stop my "whining" wihich is less whining and more like asking questions until I'm not ignored, and don't tell me the lie that I do annoying things on TS all the time like whine, argue, etc., because I damn don't.

DMC, 1. I live in the forest, 2. 1 Megabyte is plenty fast for EVERYTHING anyone does on the net. It's $80 BTW, same price as my old 14KB/sec.

I have no choice between this cable and my ISDN, and I'd like to get the 1 Megabyte I'm paying for, especially since the 100KB I'm getting is what the ISDN was supposed to be all this time. It's really sad.

Lol there isn't even such thing as a router/modem-to-computer connection that can support 500Mbits. Even ethernet only goes up to like 130 Mbits or something.

Alright, so here's the situation with my internet: I'm paying for 1 Megabyte per second download, but getting 100 Kilobytes per second (or 30 on some times of the day). And the worst part is, here's a phone conversation with the head of the cable company.

Him: I've run some speed tests on my end, and it's going just fine. Don't make me come over there, because if I run tests there and find out it's all OK, it'll cost you $45.
Me: So my mom will say no to that.
Him: Also, you mentioned a friend in that message who also has your problem?
Me: Yeah, [I say his name].
Him: Well I ran tests there and it all checked out OK.
Me: *Thinks: Bullshit.*
Him: So, you're never gonna really get the full speed on any server, I mean when you go from here to San Francisco, for instance, you could be going across the country and back.
Me: But it seems odd that I get a tenth of the full speed 24/7. No other cable I've used did that. It also seems odd that this bouncing gives me a constant and not fluctuating speed.
Him: Well, you're gonna have to talk to Rob about that.
Me: So, my speed test gave me back 900 Kilobits.
Him: Yeah, that's full speed and normal. That's correct.
Me: So I'm paying for 1 Megabit and not a megabyte?
Him: No, you're paying for one megabyte.
Me: But 900 Kilobits is not 900 Kilobytes. I'm getting a Megabit and paying for a Megabyte?
Him: Well, no, when you ran that test and got 900 Kilobits, you're getting the full megabyte.
*Later*
Him: If you keep calling the company every day like this and taking time out of ours, I'm gonna have to start monitoring your traffic and penalizing you for going over, because you guys have the most usage in that area.
Me: That's probably my brother downloading a shitload of TV shows and movies and music.
Him: Well, try not to go over.

So the leader of the company thinks that 0.90 Megabits is close to 1 Megabyte, and there's nothing I can do because he's pissed that I'm calling every day to get this issue fixed. What the fuck do I do guys???

This counts as a holiday, I guess, since I'll only be able to access the forums (with my iPod) for a week and a half.

Against my will, my sound card broke and I have no sound on half my boots. Against my will, I have to send my computer in for repairs. The computer company says it'll take a week and a half. I'll post again right before I send it in.

I have a good connection now, though...

FTR, I've been getting a 2-digit number of kills pretty much every match, except that one match when I was really tired and sucking because it was late, and getting owned by this one guy. You should see me on a server where my ping is a 2-digit number (Amsterdam will never be that). I kick ass! But having a better frame rate would really help... Sometimes it's hard to aim at the enemy in a fight because of my laptop video card.

But there is an answer to my video card. Asus has been, for years, working on this thing that turns USB into PCI express, but it also makes whatever you plug in to the PCI express slot actually be as fast as internal PCI, ignoring the cap on USB 2.0. It's bound to come out damn soon now.

Plus I don't know how to use it yet, but there's an extra PC slot on the outside of my computer. It's got some empty useless block of plastic plugged into it now to keep dust out, but once I figure out what this port is all about and learn how to remove that plastic I can maybe SLI vidoe cards.

That's what I really need for my Strategy/Stealth loadout. A kebinding for silencer and laser sights.

Wtf Echo Four Sreet, Blackhawk? I didn't see that anywhere. All I saw was Colorado. If I had seen the street and city I would instantly recognize the bullshit.

Haha, this new internet of mine is no faster than the cable I was testing at my dad's and my ping is no lower, but somehow when I fire a bullet at an enemy it counts immediately instead of 1 second later. So I can play on the Amsterdam server, no problem, and do just fine!

I just noticed we must have like 10 15-year-olds (including me). Practically everyone who joins these days is 15. Strange coincidence...

I oughtta buy a headset...
