icomrade had to research that before resuming play in Crysis 2.
lol, you're so gay. -
oh, woops, looks like GFACE is owned by crytek, so it's not like they got paid to put that ad in the game. so, you still don't win evil.

pssh i don't need a tracer to land a hellfire

also to dodge a side-incoming rocket pull back down and spin with the incoming rocket's direction. for example if the rocket is coming to hit you on the right spin left. -
well, i have been to time square and i can tell you the billboards and lights are mesmerizing. for me at least seeing a real ad in-game as apposed to a "generic" ad is the difference between $60 per game and $40 per game, due to ad revenue a game should be slightly cheaper. hell, if it was all for realism don't you think the actual real life adverts are in the correct spot in the game?
to sum it up i feel exploited for ad revenue even though i payed a premium for a game.
-
you lose.
lol
we all know every one of us regrets buying C2.P.S. look who's the troll on the block now.
-
this is a dumb discussion, i stand by my beliefs, and don't tell me i have problems because i made a point. usually you don't attack someone at a personal level in a debate/discussion but w/e. so does anyone else have anything to say about Homefront being worth it or not?
also i had no idea such a website existed, and i have no problem with ads for the redcross or other non profit organizations.
-
If you play the single player and understand the story behind this game, you would appreciate the necessity for real places in the game. You have no idea how far this game goes under your skin, and I think the real billboards add to the realism. I'm not trying to sell something here, I'm putting it out here for an honest and 100% review.
This game is so immersive it causes PTSD. I'll be out in public somewhere and here something like "KPA" or "North Korea" and images of this game come to mind in a very deep manor. No game has ever been as immersive as Homefront is. I am almost ashamed to admit it.
In this game, one of the cinematic's mentions "irradiation" of the Mississippi river. That is genius to think of. Disturbing and scary, but it will provide an experience you cannot get from any other game.
i think your'e exaggerating a bit, in crysis 2 there aren't real ads in time square and that doesn't make it any less realistic.
-
not necessarily less realistic, a fake ad on a billboard still emulates a real ad, it's just that i don't like the idea of wanting white castle while playing a video game because of in game advertising. i think i can leave it up to my appetite to tell me weather i want square hamburgers with holes in them.
-
do many people still play bf2? i was thinking of buying it when it went on sale but convinced myself otherwise.
-
You can say what you want, but he does own a Audi R8

when his lease is up he won't.
-
I don't pay people to advertise to me. In other words i'm not paying for a game with features of a free one.
-
i'm not going to buy it because of in game adverts i.e. white castle + tiger direct.

Today I took a "personal day" to get some personal matters resolved. Had some time and just couldn't help myself. Crysis 2 multiplayer is actually pretty decent. But, if you want purely blissful gameplay, get Homefront.
So Metro 2034 is coming out in 2012. It'll be bigger than BF3. In any event, get Homefront and you will see it is like no other.
i've heard mixed reviews about it, plus the game has a 68 meta-critic score, so i'm a bit weary of it. -
hmm, there is no lan option, otherwise we would play through tunggle or hamachi i would think, because the game is fun when it's fair and competitive. it isn't fair when it's dominated by cloakers and campers.

14 months ago when that little teaser in which pieces of glass formed the title "crysis 2" i was excited as hell, but now i just want to play wars even more to remind my self what crysis should be.

i suggest nod 32 smart security for you. to port range forward
port: 64100
protocol: UDP you may try both if that doesn't work
you will not have a source net option like i do, but refer to the pic below.
