Those types of things turn me on.

Here is my desk, finally cleaned up a bit. My server is the top one (ITX) and my desktop is below the desk. 700 watt Samsung surround sound system. Samsung widescreen LCD, etc.
Here is the water tube routing inside Blackwater (my gaming desktop). Notice how the PSU covers the CPU? That was the only option I had if I wanted tou mount the triple radiator in the top of the case. I really don't like external radiators.
Here is Pink-chan, the mild gaming rig I built for my girlfriend. I'd say it has good wire management.

An old song but jeeze it's still good. No I don't listen to a lot of rap, but occasionally the slim shady stuff is still good. There's a slim shady in all of us.

What would you rate my cable management (the ones inside the case)
-F for effort.
You might want to do something with all them cables. Zip ties will be an easy -C.

your obviously an idiot because its not measured in ghz its measured in Celsius.
"Temperature in Degrees Celsius (°C)Shorter bars are better"in theory the more you overclock a processor the more voltage you have to add to it and we all know that electricity creates heat.
Here is a graph from the link posted. This graph is misleading and let me tell you why. But first, a graph to show you what I'm talking about
^ There you can plainly see on the left is degrees celcius. On the bottom you can see the CPU speed in gigahertz.
Gigahertz on any given processor is not an accurate measurement of heat production. Even two processors with the same specs and stepping can produce different amounts of heat and require different amounts of voltage.
The proper way to express a graph for heat production or thermal conductivity would be celcius on the left, watts on the bottom.
Keep in mind I took physics in college. Not to mention I've been overclocking processors since I was 11 and had my first 486 processor. -
I didn't get home from work until 10pm, so I missed the scrim. Really disappointing.
-
Those graphs are easily manipulated with the data put into them. I'll put this in large text, since the default text size is tiny on this forum.
You cannot measure thermal conductivity OR heat production of a CPU using Gigahertz.
Every processor should be labeled with something called TDP. Lower TDP (in watts) will run cooler regardless of the megahertz or heatsink. The only fair/true way to measure heat output of a CPU is with watts and degrees celcius. The link posted above shows gigahertz and degrees celcius, which is most certainly not an accurate way to measure the CPU or the heatsink.

I hate thieves. Especially ones who steal things that have memories attached to them. Fucking pieces of shit, flaying is in order.
Amen.
I'm paranoid someone might steal my car to part it out. It's covered in aftermarket in the engine bay. That and I have tons of pictures posted all over the internet of it. Luckily, here in Georgia we can shot a thief as long as we fire a warning shot.

Don't buy that PSU. Buy a Corsair, PCP&C, or a specific Antec True Power New. Actually, just buy this PSU:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-116-AN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1088
^ It's the best PSU I've ever tested and touched. I am using it right now, in fact.Gigabyte mobo's are good, especially when they have "UD" in the model.
I can't comment on the air coolers because I water cool. But I will say, it's good to upgrade the cooling.
However, you had better buy the Core i7 processor. It's way way w-w-w-w-way-y-y-y-y better than the AMD processor. I have a Phenom II and they are good enough to game with. But the i7 is best.

Plays fine for me, no codec needed besides a regular flash player install as its an .flv
Tioga, not everyone is a teeny meme whore like you.
Well, here I am, in Linux and it works fine. I guess it just doesn't work in Windows XP.
I can view normal flash videos in XP but not that one. Don't really care though. I mostly use Windows for gaming. Everything else I trust to Linux.

Let this be inspiring:
DELETED
Whoops how did that slip in there?

We want screenshots or ban. Hey when is that mesa_x map going to be finished/implemented?
-
like this
That doesn't work. I press play and nothing happens. Perhaps you have some special codec, or perhaps it just doesn't work like that.

Yes there was confusion.

Dude, even with the best air cooler in the world, you still need to download those applications before you overclock. Can't overclock without the appropriate tools. It like trying to fix a car without tools.
-
+1.1 Mike that was good.

Arborist, it's an AMD system, right? Try to keep the load temperatures under 55*C. Usually I tell people 50*C because changes in ambient room temps, and also dust collection after weeks can affect the temperature. So aim for 50*C and don't let it go above 55*C.
Use Prime95 for load stress testing, and SpeedFan to monitor temperatures.
Prime95 (32-bit)
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103Prime95 (64-bit)
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=205SpeedFan
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=51CPU-Z for info
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=26These three applications are very important when overclocking. It may be easier for us to help you if you make a thread dedicated to your system and overclocking. Please do and list your system specs in the first post. Then run these applications to test things and post the temperatures and stuff.

maybe this needs a new thread but..the non usage of =osf= tags, like come on people youve earned the tags. i hate playin a game only to find out later "xnoob" is really an =osf= member. alls im sayin is i sport =osf= whatever server i play. and im proud to represent my clan.
Times two.

Tell me how to post it noaw or ban!

I was thinking a virus or something like that. There is no single virus scanner that can catch any and all modern computer viruses.
