You know you want it. It can increase sever popularity and overall enjoyment. The Infantry Rank System Overhaul will provide new default weapon loadouts for each rank.Right now, we don't need to vote on what the changes entail. This vote will simply exact what you would like. All in favor of overhaul, vote yes.

Please list what ranks you would like to see gain loadouts. I want to see all ranks loadouts changed except General. General is fine with the SCAR.

Weapons to include: Shotgun, SMG, Dual Pistol, FY71, Grenade launcher attachments
We do not see a variety of weapons on our servers. I would love to hear more FY's gun fire. And I know we all hate having to fumble through weapons when the single pistol os always slowing us down.

Included in this overhaul, removal of single pistol. Dual pistols can likely remain. Ultimately, you guys post up the configurations you want to see, then we discuss and decide and make a final vote for each one.

Here is my general thought for some ranks:
1 == shotgun
2 == shotgun
3 == SMG
4 == SMG
5 == FY
6 == FY
7 == SCAR
8 == SCAR

^ Something like that. If you don't like this idea, post an idea you like. The vote is simply a feeler to see what you guys want. No changes are implied, even with a 100% passing vote. Just vote YES if you want some sort of change.

Yoda, do you like the Precision Rifle? Do you feel the Precision Rifle should be a part of the OSF servers? Would you prefer to have the freedom to purchase a Precision Rifle at any time (or # of players) when you play on the OSF servers?

Why are the OSF servers power struggle? Just make them TIA and give everyone a scar and pistol. Then it would actually make sense to ban everything else.

One good method to practice or improve your aim is to use the precision rifle without a scope. I don't mean to snipe, but just close range combat. It teaches you how to precisely aim on the first try. It will not be easy, but perfect practice makes perfect.

I have to practice on servers other than OSF servers. It's pretty gay that everyone is so sensitive to the precision rifle. But alas, when Crysis 2 comes out, we should have at least a few months to play without bastardizing the weapons and equipment. (no offense meant)

Home Depot and Lowes has Lexan and plexi. Lexan is better, but plexi is cheaper. Pro tip: When you cut it with a saw, it helps to spray WD-40 on the blade and area you cut. I like to use an X-acto to carve the lines before I cut. This way if the plastic protective sheet starts to come off, you have a fine line on the lexan or plexi. Otherwise the marker or whatever you use will come off with the protective sheet.

I would guess it will last a year before we get hackers and cheaters real bad again. Then hand the ban hammer to me and I'll squash 'em. jk

Strange that the GTX 465 is so slow in Warhead, but so fast in everything else.

I play Far Cry 2 on Ultra High 1680x1050. I can play on Ultra High 1280x(sumthin widescreen) with 16xAA. Then again, somehow I've benched faster than two 8800 GTX's SLI in 3DMark06. Perhaps it's all the overclocking?

That looks good man. How about some tinted plexi or polycarbonate (aka Lexan)?

If I had money to build a whole new rig, my current rig would be in a donation center. It's not like it's been water cooled for 3-4 years or anything (or has it been that long?). It's just, old and ugly, and patched with inexpensive upgrades.

However, I'd rather have my old rig with Nvidia than a new rig with ATI.

Crytec had two branches developing the game separately. One group for consoles, another for PC. Later they combined the groups. It is not a port from a console, so it will live up to our expectations. You will see. The only part we have to worry about is the consoles stealing all the press releases and hype.
