From my small understanding of such things yes and no, some games relie on the cpu a bit more than others, so maybe you will find some limit/bottleneck?The games i hear that are bad for this is Metro 2033 and Stalker Call of Pripyat both games that relie on the cpu some what, but hey i am only going by what i've read on the web and have no first hand knowledge on this.
Arbo you have right but Stalker COP use only 1 core from CPU but it give a way to fix it....
Hm now is the time from BF4 and Cryshit3, BF4 need much CPU Power and Cryshit3 much GPU power my Asus GTX560Ti OC run this games all in high settings 1920x1080 HD, now i have since 1 mounth a GTX770 and must really say i had always luck with Nvidia GPU´s all my cards i had was much OC and never Problems.
